Slanted Dots

Dear all,
Hope you guys are enjoying your wonderful weekends!

Today I would like to share with you guys another newbie creation of my nail art =D
The above is my newbie creation on 12th Feb 2012. The colours that I used is also from O2 Skin. At first I did not have any dotting tools, so I used tooth-pick to do out the Slanted dots design. However, I think the polish is really lousy or I did not put on top coat (as I dun have it) so the design did not last overnight, the next day I woke up the dots is aready gone LOL!! dunno what happen... Maybe I ate it while I'm asleep.

Well, hope you guys still able to recall me doing a gelish nails at far east. I was very bored with the design of the gelish as the colour is too dark and there are 3D design on it thus I was not able to do overlay with my normal polish. So I went to the nail salon near my house to remove it with S$10 on Friday. I really think that it's really a tough job in removing the gelish polish. I don't think I will be doing the gelsih polish again or maybe not so soon. Anyway, after removing I was surprise that my nails actually grow a lot! and because I really misses playing my hubby cello so I decided to trim my nails when I get home.
The above is my nails before and after trimming =D. Yeah I really trimmed it a lot. If my nails are not that short, I won't be able to play me cello. Well, on Friday night I played straight 2hours on my cello. My skills really went down a lot with a year not touching it. So I must really make use of my short nails period and spend more time with my hubby cello.

On the next post I will be showing you guys my short nails, nail art =D hope you guys will like it!
Oh Ya! remember to subcribe to our blog with your email on the right hand side of the page!
See you Soon!! Jya!!

My First Nail Art

Dear all,

Hope you guys are having a great and fun time!
Well, I think I mentioned in the first post before that I just started nail painting and nail art not long ago and this is my new hobby =D. So let's see what is my first design!!
My very first nail painting
The above is my very first design and it somehow spark off my interest in nail art... At that point of time, I do not have any OPI nor China Glaze or top coat from neither sally hassen or Seche Vite. Also, at the point of time I did not know what is cuticle and don't mention about removing it... At that time, I used the nail polish that I bought few years ago from O2 skin, somehow I don't think they are around any more... After painting, I put on nail stickers and end up with a glitter coat to finish with my painting, both stickers and glitter are from O2 Skin too. At that time, I'm still not used to have long nails. So from the picture you can see that, I'm still with my short short nails =D. When I posted this picture to my Facebook, a friend of mine said that it's a nice 3D nail art, but I did not know that stickers is also part of 3D nail art until recently.
Hope you guys will find it interesting on my story of my new hobby! I will also update some other design that I've done in the past too =D.
Have a nice day ahead! See you again!
Jya!

New stuffs and Design!

Dear All,
Nice to see you guys again! Today I would like to share with you guys my new family members again! Previously I bought china glaze polish in Gmarket on 08 Apr, but due to shortage of stock the vendor (NailPolicious) sms-ed me to ask if it's ok to send it out all together on 16Apr instead. So after she out. I recieved the polish well packed on 17thApr (yesterday). Together with it I found another package in my letter box which is the OPI that I purchase on Gmarket too from smoochiezz on15Apr. So all together I have 5 new polish yesterday!! So happy to see them.
The Silver cap OPI is one of their colours in the Designer series (DS 039), the other OPI is Aphrodite's Pink Nightie (NL G01). Acutually, I wanted to buy these two OPI on the day that I ordered for the China Glaze Polish, but at that point of time smoochiezz changed her way of selling. She did not set limitation on number of bottles to buy but she add on a S$1.50 shopping fee, which after adding up it's more expensive compare to buying at her flea market so I did not purchase from her. While browsing with disappoinment. I saw NailPolicious who is having promotion too in Gmarket and she's selling China Glaze at S$7, After using my coupons which are allowed concurrently with the promo, I bought two bottles at S$6 each and one of them is S$6.30 ( I think is due to the percentage coupon). They are from left to right Jetstream 70258, Bahamian Escape 80875 and Blue Year's Eve 80521. You may find that the dark and pink somewhat similar to the OPI that I bought later. As I've forget what colour I've purchased for China Glaze and the Two OPI colours are the ones that I long for. So without much consideration I bought the OPI without checking. End up having similar colours, but I believe their effect will look different (Let's pray =8 )
With my happy mood from receiving my new colours. I started my nail drawing on fake nails, as my own one is still the gelish... which will be able to last me 21days!!!!! I think I will remove it earlier... This time my base colour for the fake nails is purple and pink gardient. The design that I trying to make is sakura tree.. with black stripper to draw the branches, pink polish [Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Series (520 Shrimply Devine)] for the main flower and white for the inner part.
After practising my painting, another surprise awaits me! My dad came home and as usual he will empty the letter box before coming back and he came back with two packages!! of mine!!! and I quickly open it and found that is the set of 16 brushes from Idol Merchandise via Gmarket and also my Seche Vite top coat! Initially I don't really want buy a new bottle of top coat before mine is used up, but the promotion price on Gmarket by Extranails was very very worth while I got it at S$6.90 after apply my discount coupons. For the brushes I got it with a price of S$9.50 inclusive of shipping fee. Well...a really really happy day for receiving so many in one shot!
Hope you guy have a happy day ahead too!
See you soon! Jya!

Body Shop shopping and Graduation Nail art

Dear all,

Hope you guys are having great fun!
On Friday I went Northpoint Yishun to meet up with my friend for dinner before we proceed to sembawang shopping center for karaoke session. While waiting for my friend to come I walk around Northpoint and saw that they are having a body shop sales in the atrium thus I went over to look at it. Being a shopper holic, for sure that I will not miss out ANY sales!!! So I was there grabbing things that I need.
From Left to right (original prices are in brackets): Wild Rose Caring hand Wash @ S$4.90 after using S$10 voucher from the atrim fair (S$14.90), Almond Oil for Nails & Cuticle treatment @ S$12.90each (S$21.90each), Wild Rose Nourishing Hand Butter @  S$16.90 (S$24.90), Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel @ S$10 (S$19.90), Guardian Magzine @ S$1
I actually I bought the Hand wash with a S$10 dollars voucher from the purchase of the atrim fair for the rest of the body shop items thus the hand wash only cost me S$4.90. The Almond oil is really a good buy! As I previously bought it at S$21.90 where the price tag is still there for the one that I'm using currently. I used the oil for removing my cuticles before started with my painting of nails. As I'm starting to do more frequent nails painting so I think I need to take care of my hand so I bought a hand butter to moisturize my hand and nails. Also, I recently doing nails on my friend thus will like them to wash their hands with the hand wash before starting with the painting =D (enhancing service quality). Haha... I didn't really wanted to buy the magazine.. but bought it because of the items in it!!!!! all items are freebies! but at only A DOLLAR!!! super worth while! All those freebies are good for bringing with you on your overseas trip!

Graduation Nails
This is the very first design that I do on fake nails. I do it with an idea of graduation. The base colour of the nail is silver. When I do up the nail, Miyuki asked me how I do the star. Well I just used the stripper to do it. The stripper that I used for this design are all from daiso. They are the star and the red dots and also the glittler V strip. The tip colour is Sally Hansen Xtreme wear (380 Blizzard Blue). This design was done on 13/3/2012. Hope you guys like it!
See you again! Jya!

Opi black shatter

Hi guys sorry for MIA for so long...I'm too busy with sch..And I just wanna rant!!! I screwed one of it n I really mean screwed!! okay I should stop it...

Above set of nails....I actually did it quite long ago too..I'm posting what I have in my phone as what I've mention previously hehe...cos I've not done any nails recently...

I forgot the nail polishes that I've used for this set of nails cos u can realise that I paint different colors for my nails haha...and I've threw quite some of my polishes away which I tink includes some of the colors above???

Anyway I will go check it out again and edit here if I manage to get their brands n names or code for the colors!!

Last but not least, the shatter polish is OPI Black Shatter :)

a small note: I read somewhere but not sure whether isit true, some name it cracked and some shatter and I bet there are some other names given as I've seen some other before which I couldn't rem them :p

shatter means larger crack like brick...which is like OPI's and as for cracked it's jus cracked like small river type...I really love shattered!!! I tried some other brands and I love OPI's shatter...It's what I want!!!! I also owned a cracked one, which my sis bought for me during her Taiwan trip...I love it but it just do not give me the result I want so...hmm..lol...

♥ My nail UV lamp ♥

Dear all,

Here I'm to show you guys my shopping for my nails' stuff! On Monday, after I'm done with my gelsih nails at Far East, Denise and I actually went shopping =D I went around Far east looking for nail dryer to blow dry normal polish. I came to this shop named Beauty Concept (at lvl 4 unit number 127), they are selling nail drying machine ar 50% off. I actually wanted to buy the UFO nail dryer but on Monday I dint really hear carefully how much it is.

On Thursday, I have and urge in buying the dryer so I went down to Far east Plaza again and straight to the shop to ask, to my dissappointment, the UFO fan dryer original price was S$199 (although cheaper than what Gmarket has), which after 50% discount (S$99.50) is still far over my budget of S$50. However, they have this UV lamp, after discount is S$47, they sale person told me that this UV lamp not only can cure gel or gelish polish, it can also be used for drying normal nail polish. Through have yet try it but I still buy the UV lamp, at least it can be used to cure gelish polish which  I would like to try in the future.

Initially, the sale personal told me they had only pink machine so I was very very sad and no choice but to take it (but I REALLY don't like pink). While the sales girl is helping me to assemble the 4 UV bulb, me and my mum walk around the shop and I saw a stack of machine below a shelf and just trying to test my luck, I open up the box and saw a white machine!!!! So I ask the girl if I can get the white one instead. The girl was very nice, thourght she had assembled half way for the pink one but she is still very kind to let me have the white one, she even apologise to me saying that she forget about the stack there.
My UV Lamp
While the girl is helping me to pack my machine I sms-ed Miyuki telling her that I'm buying the lamp and telling her that there is a 50% discount. Although she is studying for her exam, she still rush down to far east plaza to buy the machine... LOL. She, the pink lover of cause will but the pink machine. Hahaha...  we will see if she want to take a picture of her pink machine to share with you guys! Well, other than the machine, I also bought a tool sets, which I wanted the metal cuticle remove most (keke). They are having 20% discount for the tools set too so after discount it cost me S$10.90 which I think is not bad.

If I happen to post tomorrow, I will be showing you guy my shopping result on Friday! and hopefully some of my past nail design.
See you again! Jya!

Gelish Manicure with Nail Art

Dear all,

Sorry that I did not post anything the past few days, as I'm having this terrible headache, I'm still having it now though. but still have do out my posts, if not it will be too  much to post in a day.

Well as mentioned on previouse post that I purchased a outlet's deal thru one of my friends to go for gelish manicure with nail art.
Outlet Deal
The above is the coupon that we purchase from outlet.com (you will be able to go into the page if you click the caption above). From outlet.com you will be able to see some other good deals in Singapore. Occasionally you will be able to see nails maniure with gelish too! So do go the outlet.com often to look the the deals. But remember to look at the shop's location before buying the coupon! Well lets see the end product of our nails!
Our nails! (left: my friend Denise's nails, Right: Me!)
The Kawaii nail (the nail salon) was actually quite small. They have only two person working at the point of time (1pm). So our nails was done by the same person, meaning waiting for each other... but haha due to my talkative personality the waiting wasn't boring at all (I think) hahah... First we have to choose the colour that we want from a fake nails chart so Denise choose one of her favourite milky tone but a colour that she have not had it at home (a baby green). For me, I choosed a purple that I have not had at home as well, and to play safe, I choose the heavy colour that is mroe suitable to me compare to light  colours. After the base colour the lady help us to apply the glitter that we wanted. The both of us picked the same silver glitter to apply on. My base colour was darker so my silver glitter really stands out. Next, we were to choose either ribbon or flower for the 3D design. Denise choose ribbon to be put on her thumb and ring finger and I've picked flower for my index and middle finger (only 4 3D nails). The gelish is said to last me for around 3weeks so just let me see how long can it last (as I'm a ultra nail polish destoryer).
my nice nails
Well thats my full sets of nails. Nice eh? Denise and I think that the specialist actually need more practice, as the gel does not really sets well and my thumb's gel seems to be crampled a little...for us we will try not to go back to the place at regular price again =D but it's really a good deal.

Well I will upload on stuffs that I bought when I went shopping with my mum on Thursday soon! So excited to let you guys see what I've bought.
Stay tuned! Jya!

My Nail Polish Colours!

Hi all,
As mentioned yesterday, I will be posting on my nail polish colours!
OPI: NL F13 Louvre Me Louvre Me Not, NL Z20 Yodel Me On My Cell
I'm really a purple lover so I actually long for F13 purple a lot after seeing it on line. I went to the flea without the piece of paper that I write the code on thus didn't buy dare to buy (in case I buy the wrong one). I'm looking for baby blue thus during smoochiezz deal I just grab the lightest blue from the picture I see even without doing google search on how the real colour look like on nails. When I received the polish I was disappointed as it's not the colour I wanted but it still look nice as a base colour on me so I'm still happy. =D
OPI: NL B87 A Grape Fit, NL H64 Wooden Shoe Like To Know?
Hahaha... I really just cannot stop my hand in picking my favourite purple, so I bought another purple of lighter tone =D. The brown I bought it for drawing tree branches if needed... as you can see the colour does not really stand out from my skin colour.
OPI: NL B69 Green-which Village and China Glaze: Blue Island Iced Tea 80873
Well, most of my friend know that the colour I hate MOST is green hahaha... so the green I bought is purely for drawing leaves. I really hate it so I paint it on my pinky finger with has the smallest area. =D the Blue from China Glaze has silver glitter in it so it's really nice =D. Miyuki thought that I dun like glitter as I dun like bling bling stone as I always say her 3D nailart "aiyo... so bling" but what I dun like is the 3D pop up... not the glitter haha...Just that I find glitter nail polish are difficult at removing.. but very nice when painted =D
China Glaze: Sky High-Top 80903 and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear 330 Grey Area
The Sky high-top blue I bought it for drawing blue angry bird. I think I will show you guys my angry bird set soon. =D one of my first few pieces.  The grey I bought it also for the purpose of drawing angry bird (black one) but it still look nice on me as a base colour.

China Glaze: Red Stallion 80881 and Glacier80424
I applied Glacier over the red polish.. well red is another colour that I like too =D  not as much as purple. I just love the brightness of red =D

Well this time I had a nice time trying out all these polishes on my finger to see which suits me and which not before doing a design =D. You might already notice what kind of colours that suits me!
Today I went to do gelish nail with my deal coupon! hahah so excited as it's  first time I do colour and design in nail salon!!! haha will show you guys tomorrow!! So stay tuned!

See you! Jya!

My new nail art stripper =D

Dear all,

Miss you guys so much, previously I was busy with something thus not being able to post stuffs and share with you guys. You guys might also wonder where's Miyuki right? She's now busy with her school work too. I think she will be back with us soon, after her exam.

Well, this morning a delivery man come to my house to deliver 2 bottles of strippers (silver and gold). I purchase them thru Gmarket. If you interested you can click here to go into their listing in Gmarket. The colours I bought are no. 19 (Glitter Silver) and no. 20 (Glitter Gold). They are Korean seller thus so they will use Eurasia for their shipping which cost S$5.50. While I buy the strippers at S$4 each. After I manage to have 2 S$0.50 coupons and adding up all shipping, each bottle cost me S$6.25 which still considered ok compared to the one I bought at far east last time.

Other than the two bottle of strippers I have for adding into my nail art family. When I went out for dinner with my parent just now, I bought two bottles of nail polish remover from Sally. =D My favourite brand. This time I got it at a cheaper price compare to Watson. I buy it at S$4.30 at Serangoon Nex Shopping mall. Also I've been looking for nail polish remover pump, as I'm a bit blur and clumsy, recently I've been knocking down my nail polish remover. So I wasted quite an amount of it. So getting the pump is essential for me =D. i manage to get myself the pump bottle also at Nex, the shop is just beside the bus interchange. I bought it at S$4.50 but the price tag was actually S$5, there might be a discount going on or something. if you guys need it can just head there and get yourself one of it. Be careful when you are there as you might be tempted to but their China Glaze and OPI nail polish there but their pricing are REALLY steep, so I suggest not to buy there.

Well I'll end here folks. I've paint my nails will the nail polishes that I've got recently or polish that I've not try painting the whole nail with so I will be posting it at my next post. So stay tune!
See you tomorrow! Jya!

The Hunger Game Nails

Hi all,

Hope you guys had a nice weekend.
Well I should be doing my work but.... hahah being diverted to do my plain nails. Wonder why plain again?? I should me Pikachu on... Haha I actually clean it away. As I think yellow doesn't really match my skin tone.

So now I decided to do a new design =D The completed design is below!

I think this set of nails actually appeared in The Hunger Game. Anyway hope you guys like it!

The polish I used:
- Sally Hansen Continuous treatment (strength) [Base coat]
- Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Series (50 Hot Red)
- Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Series (310 Gilty Pleasure)
- Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

I really love Sally Hansen's nail polish a lot! I think they are more wet compare to OPI of China Glaze polish. Because it's more wet, I can have better control with doing my nails as I'm still a beginner in nail art =D

Hope you have a nice day! See you Soon! Jya!
